Our client is a respected industry superannuation fund offering its members a range of services and products designed for putting its members first. Support the larger risk and compliance team and utilise your compliance experience gained from within the superannuation (ideally) or broader financial services industries.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Head of Compliance this role is critical in supporting the Governance team to improve and ensure the fund adheres to their compliance requirements while supporting a broader GRC platform implementation.

There is a potential to permanence after the initial 12-month contract.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Compliance team in conducting gap analyses;
- Work with the vendor and the Governance team in implementing a GRC platform into the business;
- Identifying reporting requirements streamlining controls and workflows to enhance critical reports in the platform;
- Support in the migration of the Risk Register and associated data from the legacy platform into the new GRC platform;
- Collaborate with the Senior Compliance Officer in daily compliance management tasks;
- Oversee compliance registers on the newly created GRC Platform; AND
- Prepare and lodge regulatory documentation with ASIC and APRA providing reports for the management, Committee, and the Board.

**Technical Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, law, economics or related field or experience required;
- Background in compliance and/or risk, including exposure to GRC systems and similar platforms;
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to superannuation funds; AND
- A proactive approach to managing tasks with strong communication skills and the ability to effectively carry out compliance tasks as required.
