Accounts Officer

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Feel Goods Foods are in need of an experienced Accounts Officer. We are a growing FMCG business and require someone who is dynamic and passionate and is able to work in a fast paced environment. This person must have strong attention to detail and is confident with various accounting software packages.

We require someone who has:

- Demonstrated experience assisting small to medium sized businesses with all aspects of bookkeeping in accordance with relevant Australian TAX and BAS legislation
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to cope with deadlines and can work well in a fast-paced environment
- A committed and trustworthy character who can work autonomously and in a team
- Office administration capabilities and is IT savvy.

Skills and Education:

- Certificate in Bookkeeping an advantage
- A minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations.
- Experience with processing Payroll, Superannuation and WorkCover an advantage
- Must be proficient with Excel and Word

Duties and Responsibilities are detailed below but not limited to:

- Debt Collection
- Processing Orders/Invoicing when required
- Raising invoices and Purchase orders when required
- Monthly supplier claims
- Checking supplier invoices against purchase orders.
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing payments received in bank
- PayPal payment transfers
- Processing weekly Accounts Payable
- Maintain Petty Cash
- Maintain employee leave calendar
- Reconcile online sales accounts
- Driver Reconciliations

- Must be able to work autonomously without supervision as well as within a team
- Able to prioritise, multi-task and have the ability to work on various jobs in succession
- Polite, respectful and with a sense of humour
- Driven and wants to be part of something and have a meaningful role to play
- A healthy appetite and a love of food a must
