**About The Opportunity**:
Darling Group are looking for an experienced Venue Manager to join the team at The Terrace. Manage the front of the house team and be responsible for the smooth running of the venue’s operations.

**About The Terrace**:
The Terrace is a landmark project led by Darling Group in the unrivalled setting of Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. A true Melbourne icon is revitalised - a conservatory by an ornamental lake. Equal parts romance, Australiana, cool botanica and modern grandeur, The Terrace has unrivalled indoor and outdoor function options including all day cafe, takeaway kiosk and pop-up experiences - purpose-built for casual dining, lakeside beverages and world-class events.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Previous experience in venue / restaurant management or supervisor position
- Exemplary service skills
- Exemplary leadership with focus on staff development
- Passionate about people, hospitality and experiences
- Solid understanding of management practices
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Proven ability in building effective relationships
- Organisational and time management skills
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Strong organisation skills with the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
- Must hold a valid RSA
