We are looking for a leader who can mentor, motivate and lead a small dynamic finance team as well as provide strategic input to Senior Management.

Working out of our head office in Brisbane and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

- End to end financial matters for our international and multi-entity Group
- Engaging with internal key stakeholders (Managing Director, international department heads, country-based management) to guide the Business Planning process
- Strengthening partnerships with our external accounting firms across the globe
- Providing cash flow forecasting, budgeting and reporting to meet business objectives across the Group

We embrace flexibility and are able to offer this role as either part time (60%) or full time as well as hybrid working after the initial settling in period.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Formulation of a reporting model that delivers company-wide value creation
- Presentation of financial insights to the Management Team
- Preparation of financial models, budgets and forecasts for the Group
- Proactive management of Group cashflow
- Maintenance of the implemented transfer pricing methodology
- Leading and mentoring a team of accountants
- Assisting our advisers with preparation of R&D Tax Incentive Applications
- Handling payroll
- Ensuring statutory lodgement deadlines are met globally
- Liaison with external parties including external accountants, customers, suppliers, auditors & banks
- CA/CPA Accreditation
- Financial and management accounting experience
- Sound understanding of implications of Australian Tax Law
- Experience in managing group/consolidated entity accounts
- Exposure to regulatory requirements in other countries
- Strong Xero and Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to be hands on, flexible and a team player
- Self-motivated and have effective time management skills
