**About the Role**

Life Without Barriers' Youth and Family Mental Health Services are accredited under the National Mental Health Standards, and we are seeking an enthusiastic, engaging and experienced **Program Assistant **to join the **Tasmanian** youth and family mental health team.

The key purpose of the **Program Assistant** is to provide administrative and program support to the mental health team. Administration tasks vary and include reception duties/coverage, supporting reporting obligations including preparing and analysing data with Microsoft Excel, and preparation of materials for meetings and training.

We are looking for someone who is pro-active, takes initiative, can manage and negotiate multiple priorities in a busy work environment. The person will be organised and have excellent time management skills and excellent attention to detail.

This role is being offered as a **part time role (3 days per week) **based at our office in **Hobart**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate client information database, support data entry, collation, analysis and reporting.
- Scheduling, organising, preparing agendas for meetings.
- Monitoring and complying with reporting schedules to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform rostered reception duties for office location.
- Assist with program initiatives/projects as required.
- Comply with all Life Without Barriers policy, code of conduct, procedures and practices, external funding body requirements and legislation.
- Fulfil other duties as required.

**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate III in Business Administration or previous relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain clients’ privacy and confidentiality.
- Established problem solving and communication skills.
- Strong written and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with client databases.
- An interest in and knowledge of the mental health sector is desirable.
