Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to undertake a Hospitality Food Services Traineeship with one of our well-established and reputable host employers in the aged care sector.

Previous experience is not essential as we are seeking someone that has the right attitude, are dependable, reliable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

**Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA)**

ACA is a nationally accredited Group Training Organisation (GTO) that was established in 2011. Our role throughout the traineeship process is to support and mentor you throughout your traineeship journey and work closely with your host employer (the aged care provider) and the accredited training provider to ensure your success in this role.

**About the role**:
You will work as part of a team to provide high-quality hospitality and catering services to the residents at the facility.

This role is open to all age groups. Previous experience is not essential as we are seeking individuals that are dependable, reliable, with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

**Duties include**:

- Demonstrate a positive attitude to older people and their needs
- Be prompt and courteous when interacting with residents, families and colleagues
- Collaborate with lifestyle personnel to provide catering for special occasions, customs and celebrations
- Excellent communication skills
- Other duties as directed

**Hours**:

- Monday: 2pm - 7:30pm
- Tuesday: 2pm - 7:30pm
- Wednesday: 2pm - 7:30pm

**About You**:

- Works well within a team

- Willingness to work under Work Health and Safety guidelines
- Someone who brings enthusiasm and energy to a workplace
- Has a professional attitude
- Organised and tidy
- Has great time management skills
- Shows initiative
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Drivers Licence preferred but not essential
- Willing to commit to completing a Certificate III, or IV in Hospitality (or similar)
- Willing to undertake a National Police Check
- Must have or willing to obtain Flu Vaccination (documentation must be presented)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain prior to commencing employment
- Have or willing to obtain a current Working with Children Check
- Lives locally to Mornington
