**About the role**

This position supports people who live independently in their community and can include:

- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Providing psychosocial support
- Providing support and transport for people to access and participate as a valued member of their community.
- Assisting with personal care
- Domestic assistance such as cleaning,

Wherever you live, we want to hear from you, however we have participants looking for service in the Rockingham, Kwinana and Port Kennedy area.

**About you**

Prior experience is not needed, but you’ll be caring, kind, warm and reliable. You’ll share our values and be wanting to make a difference, and you’ll:

- A genuine passion for making a difference in someone’s life.
- Ideally have experience, formally or informally, helping those living with a disability or mental health illness
- You will enjoy communicating with a variety of people and are a good listener.
- Have a full driver’s licence and access to a road worthy vehicle (that is registered with Third Party Insurance)
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required.
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months)
- Certificate III in Community Care, Individualised Supports or Disability is desirable.
- Current First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
