Our dynamic team thrives on collaboration and innovation, and we are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper/Analyst to join our office in Mount Gravatt.

As a Part-Time Bookkeeper/Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, conducting analysis to support our business objectives, and providing insights that drive performance improvements across our locations. This position requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, payroll processes, and financial reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Payroll Management: Process payroll for all staff across our 14 locations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy in payments.
- Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling accounts, coding transactions, and maintaining financial records.
- BAS Preparation: Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with ATO requirements, liaising with our company accountant.
- Annual Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and liaise with company accountant as necessary.
- Sales and Data Analysis: Analyse sales data and financial performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Store Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews of each location, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Strategy Planning: Participate in strategy planning sessions to align financial goals with business objectives and support decision-making processes.
- Reporting: Generate and present financial reports to management, highlighting key insights, variances, and recommendations for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legislation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Work Schedule**:
This is a part-time position, with flexible hours that can be tailored to fit your schedule. We are looking for approximately 25 to 35 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during peak periods.
