**About The Company**:
Our client is a leading modular builder with a 30-year background in residential builds. Specializing in both on-site and pre-fab construction, with recent expansion into modular, they boast a revenue of $25 million, with a significant portion dedicated to material costs, experiencing rapid growth, particularly in the B2B sector.

**About The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the **Procurement Manager,** you will play a pivotal role in managing the supply chain and ensuring timely procurement of materials. This is a new role, created to support the team with their expanding operations.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives
- Manage the supply chain to ensure materials are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory
- Oversee a $7 million procurement budget and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers
- Utilize ERP systems ((transitioning to MYOB advanced) and other tools to streamline procurement processes and data analysis
- Liaise closely with production managers to align procurement activities with production schedules

**About You**:

- Proven experience in supply chain management
- Construction experience or industrial manufacturing background (desirable)
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with proficiency in Excel and Power BI
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Strong leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving

- The capacity to manage a high-value procurement budget effectively
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse data to drive informed procurement decisions
