**About the position**:
SASH Adelaide is looking for 2 enthusiastic and team oriented Emergency Veterinarians join our 24/7 Emergency team. You will work in a multidisciplinary setting alongside colleagues in Surgery and Internal Medicine while receiving direct support and in-house training from our Emergency and Critical Care Registrar. There will be opportunities to collaborate with departments across the extensive network of in NSW. This will mean you have the opportunity for additional support to further develop your skills in emergency medicine including exotic and ophthalmic emergencies.

Emergency surgeries will be part of this role. Our experienced surgeons are on call 24 hours a day to support you and you will never be asked to cut something you are not comfortable with Our surgeons will also provide you with support, supervision and additional training in key emergency surgical procedures while you settle into the team. As we offer 24 hour care, shifts rotate between evenings, overnights and weekend days. Public holidays and weekends are shared equally on a rotating basis.
- To be considered for this position, you must have:_
- A Degree in Veterinary Science registrable in South Australia
- A minimum of 2 years, full time experience as a Veterinarian
- The ability to multi task and handle a high volume of cases
- A commitment to providing the highest level of patient care
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
