We have two clinics in Melbourne (Mentone & Narre Warren) and are committed to providing an excellent patient and referrer experience within a culture of integrity, excellence, timeliness, and collaboration.
**The role will include;**
As the successful receptionist, you will be operating the front desk of the facility as the first point of contact for all questions and enquiries. Joining a team of administrators, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Professional phone manner
- Greeting clients and register clients according to established protocols
- Booking appointments
- Maintaining levels of office supplies
- Issuing patients with invoices and taking payments
- Scanning, entering and updating information onto the database
- Completing other clerical duties as assigned
- Ensuring reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
- Safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- The ability to identify and deal with issues pro-actively
- The discipline to independently follow tasks through to completion
- A strong focus on customer service with an excellent telephone manner
- Have a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Be culturally aware
- Previous reception experience, preferably in the medical field
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Previous experience with practice management software
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
- Professional customer service
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Great organisation skills
**What you can expect in return**
This position will give you the opportunity to work 2-days per week alongside a successful business and to be a part of a dynamic, friendly, and supportive team. Located in Narre Warren with parking on-site.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $25.88 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Medical administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
Work Location: In person
