This is a hybrid role based at our Central Office Location - Building 8, Level 3, 584 Swan Street, Burnley, VIC 3121

**Position Description**:
The role reports to the Payroll Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting the payroll team preparing payroll data within organisation timeframes and in accordance with relevant awards and legislation. This encompasses ensuring policies and standards are met and that customer service and teamwork are a key focus.

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Experience in a payroll role, preferably in a large multisite organisation.
- Previous experience in award interpretation.
- Previous experience in an aged care/health care environment is desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan & organise time and tasks to meet deadlines

**Key Accountable**:

- Working with the Payroll Team to process fortnightly payrolls
- Creating and maintaining employee records
- Maintaining compliance and statutory payments and requirements
- Processing terminations and issuing separation certificates
- Timely and efficient processing of pay queries
- Leave calculations including, parental, long service and annual leave
- Ad hoc reporting and other duties as required
