**Job Description**:
As a member of the International Development Unit (IDU), you will support the university in identifying opportunities to deliver aid and overseas government-funded building projects as well as professional development programs that leverage the University’s academic expertise.

This work heavily aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), greatly contributing to the University’s international profile, as well as attracting funds to assist with the University’s strategic goals.

As the Project Officer, you will be a key resource for the team, especially in providing a high level of administrative support to all IDU Project Managers and Project Coordinators. The position will support the team to develop and submit tenders for upcoming projects and programs.

This role will develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders including industry partners, funding bodies, suppliers and other University staff in the development and delivery of projects.

**What we can offer**

This is a fixed term (12 month), full time position and is based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $74,016 - $83,033 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86,598 - $97,148 per annum.

**Qualifications**:
The occupant of this position will hold a minimum of an associate diploma qualification and at least two years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

You will also have, but not limited to:

- A high level of attention-to-detail and quick to learn digital filing systems
- Proven ability in providing and coordinating administrative support for a greater team
- Demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
