**About this Position**

Reporting through to the National Aftersales Network Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performance Warehousing Crew [currently 3 team members + yourself].

The Warehouse Crew is responsible for the processing of all inward and outbound goods, maintaining stock levels and managing the stock level accuracy to ensure Palfinger & its customers are always up and running.

This will involve things like:

- Leading & supervising the overall day-to-day activities of the warehouse team, promoting effective teamwork and employee relations to meet customer demand.
- Monitoring operational costs within the warehouse and its processes.
- Providing direction in the continuous improvement & optimisation of the operational efficiency of the warehouse through tools, warehousing/logistics practices and the team. Resulting in improving customer service and overall satisfaction levels.
- Adhering to Quality and Workplace Health and Safety practices and systems [in line with legal and regulatory requirements, customer expectations and company policies].
- Going about your day in a way that promotes Palfinger values and sets the standard for the team to become ambassadors of Palfinger values.
- Working towards building a strong team spirit and mateship across the team.
- Managing performance issues and resolving any conflicts that arise between Crew Members.

This position is ideally suited to an individual who has been working in a leadership or supervisory role in a Warehousing and/or Logistics and/or Distribution environment.

Key challenges and Selection Criteria for the role include:

- Ready to lead a team, provide training, establish acceptable work levels and take team challenges as opportunities to improve the processes.
- Great communication skills - you articulate your messages clearly and engage well with others.
- A keen attention to detail and a natural willingness to take care and get things right the first time.
