**Key Responsibilities**:
- Release your inner Bob Ross & have fun
- Plan and facilitate painting classes for groups of varying sizes (big and small groups) and skill levels (including inexperienced guests)
- Instruct and demonstrate painting techniques and offer guidance and feedback to guests
- Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for customers to enjoy the experience
- Have an outgoing personality and entertain a crowd
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests' needs and concerns
- Set up and clean up before and after each class
- Take creative and fun quality photos and videos of each class
- Promote Ladder Art Space's social accounts and other programs
- Communicate with other team members and be a team player
- Occasionally travel to offsite events with painting supplies, requiring the use of a car
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of experience teaching painting techniques in a group setting
- Proficient in acrylic painting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Passion for art and a desire to share your knowledge with others
- Must own a smartphone capable of getting on the internet and/or a digital camera
- Must have a car for occasional offsite events
- Must exclusively teach Paint and Sip classes at Ladder Art Space and not for any other companies
- Must have their own ABN
- Must have valid WWCC

In consideration of this, we are actively seeking an instructor who possesses remarkable flexibility, especially during weekends. This attribute will undoubtedly elevate our capacity to meet the distinct requirements of our valued clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate artist seeking to work additional hours on weekends and/or weekday evenings. This position is perfect for someone who already has another job but is looking for some extra work. Due to the nature of this industry, sometimes we have more available shifts and sometimes fewer. We also receive last-minute bookings, so it's important that you can be flexible with your availability.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 - 30 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission
**Experience**:
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
- Painting with acrylic: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- ABN (required)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
