**The Opportunity**
The Creative Services team provides expertise in video production, photography, animation, digital and print design to support communication activities.

We are now looking for a Production and Multimedia Lead to assist with a variety of creative projects. Reporting to the Manager, Creative Services, the role plays a pivotal role in enhancing creative communications for the Department.

The Production and Multimedia Lead, works with internal stakeholders to identify key messages and develop effective strategies for distributing visual content across internal and external channels, including social media and the Department’s website.

**About You**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in a senior / leadership role.
- Extensive experience in camera operation, video editing, animation and motion graphics video production, design principles, and storyboard creation.
- Experience in supervising videographers and editors to deliver multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Ability to translate ideas into compelling visual narratives that resonate with staff, stakeholders and the community.
- Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritise, schedule, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

**Qualifications/Experience**
Appointment may be to the ASO6 or ASO7 classification level, and the successful applicant will be appointed at the classification level commensurate with their qualification(s), skills and experience.

Post secondary qualifications in Video Production, Visual Arts, Media, Design or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role is required.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) which must be renewed every three years.
- A Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 2 years

**Remuneration**
ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 per annum
ASO7 - $108,109 to $116,864 per annum
