Companion and Transport Volunteers

All Aged Care is a quality established provider of in-home aged care services (CHSP/Home Care Packages) in SE QLD. A not-for-profit multi-cultural care organisation, we pride ourselves on delivering services which exceed client's expectations and support them to remain living in their own homes.

Our Nundah Villa is an independent living unit which our elder resident can live indenpdently while take advantage aged care and community service we provides, the Villa is manned 24/7 and we have RN visit everyday to access the condition of all resident.

We are currently looking for a volunteer to enrich the quality of the life of our residents by provide them with more social activity and companionship. The volunteer will also provide our elder resident with transport service to their appointments.** The volunteer are expecting to spending a few hour per week or fortnight in the Villa to building relationship and transport residents.

**In the role of a Companion and Transport Volunteer, you will be able to assist in ensuring residents remain inspired and make sure they can live independently.

You can spend you time at the Villa to having a chat with resident, playing cards or board games, working on a hobby together or discussing the local news. We are hoping that the applicant can organize a walking session with all residents to make sure our resident are capable and fit to walk.

You will be also transport our resident to their appointments using our small Bus or your own vehicle, your mileage will be reimbursed if you use your own vehicle.

Aged Care Volunteers are not involved in providing clinical or personal care to the people they visits.

The ability to speak Polish or Russian is desired but not essential.

The Volunteer must have drivers Licence.

National Police Certificate will be perform by the organization will no cost the volunteer.

At least 2 Covid 19 Vaccination is essential.

First Aid certificate is desired but not essential
