Electrical Automation Technician

**About the role**

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader the Electrical Automation Technician will provide rotating shift electrical and instrumentation maintenance support to our Barossa Packaging and Warehouse Facility. This role involves compliance and adherence to TWE's policies and procedures as well as the AS/NZS 3000:2007 wiring rules.
- Performing electrical/instrumentation and automation repairs, corrective maintenance and troubleshooting
- Install, commission and perform routine preventative maintenanceProvide continuous improvements to systems and processes

**About you**

As an Electrical Automation Technician, you will be someone who is proactive towards maintenance and has an understanding of emerging technologies and best practice. We value someone who is a team player, supports others and puts a focus on problem resolution.
- Electrical Trade Qualification & Electrical License (required)
- Experience in Packaging/Manufacturing
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC equipment, HMI's, DeviceNet and variable speed drives (favorable)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Basic computer, literacy and numeracy skillsExperience with robotics, co-botics, instrumentation and process control (favorable)
