B & G Packaging Services Pty Ltd T/as LACO Services has been active for the last year in the Australian market for the installation and maintenance of Processing and Packaging machines.

The company is dedicated exclusively to service and maintenance and is now looking for a talented Sales and Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team.

Laco Services is now looking for an experienced Fitter to join their team:
**About your duties and responsibilities**:

- Analysing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed;
- Constructing structural components from raw materials;
- Using welding equipment to fuse structural components;
- Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size;
- Utilising shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed;
- Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance accordingly.
- Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction;
- Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed;
- Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project;
- Finding and fixing faults in pipework;
**About you**:

- At least 2 years of experience as a Fitter;
- General knowledge of construction site standards and safety procedures;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team;
- Strong manual work skills and aptitude;
- Have strong maths skills and knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings;

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
