**The Role**
ALS is seeking enthusiastic Technicians to join our metallurgical services business based in Balcatta, Perth WA. You will be a casual employee however working full time equivalent hours. Reporting to the Area Supervisor your responsibilities, as a team member, will be to safely and successfully operate testwork programs to meet the expectations of our clients.

These are not FIFO mine site positions.

Shift work availability is required for this position.

Training for all aspects of this role will be provided.
- Knowledge of mineral processing or equipment operation would be very beneficial

**The day to day**
- Supporting the Area Supervisor and Team leaders you will assist in performing bench testwork
- Follow procedures to complete test work to a high standard.
- Accurate record keeping, capturing and processing control samples.

**The essentials**
- Good communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail and be highly motivated.
- Ability to undertake Shift work as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
