This leading mid-tier contractor has a strong portfolio of current projects and continuing to secure a strong pipeline of future work. Their focus is predominantly on TMR road projects although the company boasts a number of other successful results nationally.

As Environmental Advisor, you will play an integral part in the Health, Safety & Environmental team safely delivering civil infrastructure works around QLD. You will work closely with the project teams and head office in south east QLD, continuing to develop your skills through a variety of Environmental impact assessment, monitoring, identifying risks and the opportunity to deliver an environmentally compliant work environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Support project team with investigations into significant environmental incidents
- Assisting with implementing the environmental management plan
- Assist in the identification and assessment of project environmental risks
- Support with ongoing environmental compliance across multiple sites
- A high percentage of time on site working with the team to achieve positive environmental outcomes
- Manage accurate and up to date documentation relating to all environmental related issues, reports, and training

To be successful you must be eager to learn, switched on, strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Have the ability to speak to different people on site. Ideally someone who has had previous exposure on to either construction or civil projects on their work placements, but not necessary. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering -majoring in environmental engineering. Strong Microsoft word and excel skillset.
