**The Role**
You will work within 24 SQN RAAF Base Edinburgh. The Mechanical Equipment Operations and Maintenance Section (MEOMS) is responsible for providing ground support maintenance and designated airfield services at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

The MMO is accountable for performing applicable trade related activities in accordance with established workplace principles, practices and procedures and provide advice to management and other stakeholders. The MMO undertakes investigation, analysis, resolving and evaluating materiel, processes and equipment to support Defence materiel capability life cycle.

**About our Team**
Joining our team will allow you to work at RAAF Base Edinburgh, which is home to the Boeing P-8 Poseidon. We are a diverse team and benefit from interacting with a range of stakeholders including ADF and APS members.
- Holds as a minimum a Trade Certificate (engineering mechanical or vehicle) or demonstrates applicable skills required to perform the role.
- Can perform straightforward technical trade activities and associated tasks working to agreed priorities and outcomes.
- Conducts investigations and contributes to the development of technical documentation for review.
- Applies trade knowledge and gains experience, understands priorities to identify, defines issues and implements corrective actions.
