**About the Role**
We are currently recruiting for **Residential Youth Support Workers** to join our team in the **Greater Hobart Area**. This will be a rewarding opportunity for you to make a change in Children and Young Person's lives.
This is a hands-on **Permanent Part-Time** or **Casual **role, with most time spent in the house or participating in recreational activities. You will be working directly with children and young people, the positions are based in a 24/7 Residential Setting with fortnightly rotating shift rosters.
**We will be hosting an Assessment Centre at our Hobart Office on the Wednesday 28th August 2024 at 4:30pm - 7:30pm. Level 2/175 Collins St, Hobart TAS 7030.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide day to day care, supervision and transport to children and young people
- Actively participate in activities and increase competencies of young people
- Form and maintain professional, nurturing relationships
- Develop, implement and monitor individual plans
- Actively support the child/young person to develop and maintain social skills
- Maintenance of progress notes and report writing
**Skills & Experience**
- Certificate 4 in Community Services, Youth Work, Mental Health, or similar.
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to complete prior to commencement
- A current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
- Ability to work various shifts (sleepover & active nights) throughout the week
- Prior knowledge and/or experience working with young people, people with a disability and/or vulnerable persons
