**About the Role**

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer, Conservation to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and aboriginal heritage.

***The Project Officer is responsible for providing diverse project and contract management support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high performing team to support National Parks and Wildlife Service’s conservation programs.

**About You**

As a Project Officer you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams. Ideally, you have exposure to high-volume work within a large complex organisation or similar and have a passion for achieving conservation outcomes in a changing and diverse work environment.

**Essential Requirements**
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
- Experience in development and delivery of projects, including the development of project plans, monitoring of project timelines, budgets and reporting requirements, and contract administration.
