**Trades Assistant**:

**About The Role**

We are seeking **Trades Assistants** in the **Little River region** for an opportunity in proactive and reactive maintenance works in a new large complex facility. This is a permanent full-time role from Monday - Friday. The hours are from 7.00am - 3.00pm at an hourly rate of $35.29.

**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Performing planned maintenance tasks and checks
- Troubleshooting and basic repairs to a broad range of equipment, fixtures & facilities
- Assist in managing & maintaining tools and equipment.
- Operate plant equipment where qualified and licensed.
- Perform manual tasks associated with maintenance and construction as required, including safe working duties.
- Certify plant and equipment as serviceable and fit for purpose, within the scope of trade qualifications on a daily basis.

**About You**:
You will have experience as a Trades Assistant working in a time critical environment with a focus on reactive maintenance.

**You will also possess**:

- Experience in technical related work, preferably part qualified in a Certificate of trade Proficiency, relevant to the trade environment.
- Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans
- Competence in a team environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in your work
- A current unrestricted drivers’ licence
- Be able to complete and pass a National Police Check, Medical and Working with Children
- Be able to give evidence of full covid vaccinations
