As the result of ongoing growth, an opportunity has been created to join our
- **Engineering Construction **HSE Management Team.- As a key team member, you will be working closely with the HSE Manager, General Managers, and our Senior Management teams to implement strategic HSE improvement and development initiatives.- You will also be responsible for providing direct HSE support, guidance, governance, and leadership for our operational teams.- This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and high performing team, driving improvement in HSE performance and development of a strong and positive safety culture.**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- HSE management system development and continuous improvement, including the identification and integration of lessons learned and best practice.
- Consultation and engagement with Project teams in the development of practical, fit for purpose HSE systems and to support the implementation of process changes.
- Lead serious incident investigations across the Division as required; provide incident investigation support and coaching to Project HSE teams.
- Analyse HSE performance trends; develop and support the implementation of Divisional wide initiatives.
- Coordinate and lead the HSE audit program across the Engineering Construction division.
- Support HSE training and development programs.
- Contribute to the development of HSE systems and initiatives across the broader Monadelphous group.

**Essential to this position you will have**:

- High level of attention to detail, initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in developing succinct, practical HSE management system documentation, with a working knowledge of legislative requirements.
- Experience conducting incident investigations (Taproot qualifications desirable).
- Strong technical HSE skills and knowledge of contemporary HSE management practices.
- Experience in a similar role (construction and/or resource industry experience is advantageous).
- A willingness and flexibility to travel to sites across Australia or internationally as required.
- Tertiary Qualifications in OHS, environmental science or related allied health disciplines.
