Hays Technology is currently partnered with a leading federal government organisation to recruit the **EL2 Strategic Change Lead **within their Service Design and Improvement division for initial 12-month contract with a view of further extensions.

**Your new role**

Strategic Change Lead will be accountable under broad direction to undertake work with a high level of complexity or sensitivity that delivers quality outcomes across the Participant Experience Design functions within the organisation.This will be a leadership role, responsible for initiating, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

- Establishing future state vision and stakeholder experience and journey aligned with that vision.
- Engaging and aligning program and organisational leaders to future state vision, case for change and change leadership role and capabilities.
- Conducting and managing stakeholder segments that reflect functional, behavioural and attitudinal characteristics of the target audience.
- Determining and establishing effective channels and levers for effecting functional, behavioural and attitudinal change appropriate to the audience segment.
- Measuring and monitoring changes in adoption, behaviours and attitudes towards discrete and program-wide changes, driving insight and improvement in our approach.
- Advising and establishing strategies on prioritising, sequencing and delivering change for delivering the vision, factoring in complexity in the operating environment, conflicting demands, and other changes.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in transformation, design, change management and project management.
- Change and/or Project Management qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering against key performance indicators and delivering results within agreed timeframe.
- Experience working in complex cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in building momentum for and delivery of change activity.
- Emotional intelligence in working with stakeholders and leaders at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in organisation change leadership and willing for hands-on work as required.
- Experience in Public Sector is highly regarded.
