**About the opportunity**

**Uniting Treetops Preschool in Warriewood **is a purpose-built preschool operating from 8am - 4pm during term time. Treetops is situated in a unique bushland setting within the grounds of Pittwater Uniting Church. Our programs have a strong focus on inclusion, providing an engaging, warm, and inspiring play-based learning environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Certificate III Educator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working Thursday and Friday each week.

**Your work may include**:

- Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework.
- Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families, staff and local community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes

**Who we’re looking for**
- **Certificate III in Early Childhood Education**:

- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or be willing to obtain.)
- Must hold a current Valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).
- Knowledge of child protection practices.
- A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members.
- A willingness to engage and incorporate our Christian ethos into daily curriculum is expected.
- A passion for nature pedagogy is desirable.
