**Duties**:

- Providing HSEQ advice and support services to operations management
- Developing and improvement of HSEQ Management system to maintain ISO45001 and 9001 accreditations.
- Mentoring and coaching of Project Leaders and Supervisors in the implementation of HSEQ systems and workplace culture through visible safety leadership.
- Providing direction and mentoring to HSEQ Advisors to ensure west coast operations are supported.
- Review of event investigations to ensure quality outcomes and appropriate action identification.
- Coordination of injury management activities.
- Auditing of west coast operations HSEQ Management System implementation.
- Coordination and support of project mobilisations.

**You will need**:

- A minimum of five years experience in a similar role within a civil construction, mining or resources environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of work health and safety requirements and legislation
- Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring early-career HSE professionals is also required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate Microsoft office suite skills.
- Relevant Qualifications:

- Diploma of Work Health and Safety or Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Formal investigation training i.e. ICAM, Taproot
- Formal auditing qualifications (Lead Auditor desirable)
