Waterloo Corner, Australia SA Mushrooms Full time

SA Mushrooms are looking for Harvesting Farmhands to join our team. If you are keen to learn, have an interest in horticulture and farming, and have your own transport then this could be the job for you

We grow our mushrooms indoors in climate-controlled growing rooms, allowing us to pick mushrooms 365 days a year. This means our employees have secure and reliable work all year round as we are not seasonal like many other produce farms.

**About the role**:
Reporting directly to the Harvesting Supervisors, you will be performing a variety of duties including setting up growing rooms for picking, assisting pickers on a day-to-day basis, and cleaning and sanitising facilities and equipment to meet food safety standards. You will also perform and record quality checks to ensure that quality requirements are being met.

You may be operating lifting equipment and loading/unloading delivery vehicles. Our Harvesting Farmhands work primarily indoors in modern, climate-controlled facilities.

Employees of SA Mushrooms enjoy many benefits. If successful, you will:

- Earn a competitive salary
- Receive comprehensive and practical on-the-job training
- Access complimentary on-site car parking
- Work in state-of-the-art facilities - working in 18°C every day
- Belong to a multi-cultural workplace and friendly work environment
- Be rewarded for hard work
- Work for a company that is progressive and best in its class
- Receive a free punnet of mushrooms each week
- Work with great bosses

**Requirements**:
Applicants must have intermediate English skills, be physically fit, be available to work during the day on a 7-day rotating roster and have their own reliable transport.

Previous experience working on a farm and a current high-risk forklift licence will be highly regarded.

Please note that applicants must currently live and have work rights in Australia without restrictions on work hours.
