About the role
Reporting to the Clinical Lead, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Respond as required to assist in the transport of critically ill patients between hospitals as part of a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with policies and procedures
- Provide support, supervision, and training for ARV registrars
- Ensure that accurate and relevant patient documentation is recorded during the retrieval mission and the appropriate documentation relating to each retrieval is completed in accordance with ARV policies and procedures
About you
**To be considered for this position you will possess**:
- Qualification as medical practitioner (MBBS or equivalent), registered in the state of Victoria
- Appropriate specialist medical qualifications, i.e. FACEM, FANZCA, FCICM, or equivalent
- Previous experience in the field of medical retrieval (desirable)
- Competence in video / telehealth consultation (desirable)
- Competence in interagency coordination (desirable)

Successful applicants will need to have received the mandated COVID-19 vaccinations and be willing to complete pre-employment screening including references, misconduct and Police Checks.
This position is to be paid in line with Medical Specialists (Victorian Public Health Sector) (AMA Victoria/ASMOF) Enterprise Agreement 2022-2026.
