Hazel Glen Kindergarten, located in the Hazel Glen Child and Family Centre, opened in 2015 and forms part of Hazel Glen College, situated in Doreen, in the City of Whittlesea. Our service offers, 3 year old kindergarten, 4 year old kindergarten and an Extended Care program.

**Selection Criteria**:
SC 1 Strong understanding and experience in implementing the NQS and EYLF/VEYLDF and play based learning in line with the Child Safe Standards and College Code Of Conduct.
SC 2 Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate a high quality education program.
SC 3 Demonstrated exemplary initiative and commitment to team work.
SC 4 Outstanding communication skills with children, parents, other educators and management.
SC 5 Demonstrated ability in assessing and documenting children's learning.
SC 6 Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
**Responsibilities**:
The role's and responsibilities of Early Childhood Educator may include but is not limited to:
Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
Undertaking other organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
Participating in activities such as staff meetings; camps and excursions;
Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
Conducts routine presentations to parents in communicating objectives and outcomes relating to educational programs and/or students.
Liaise with external providers of support services.
Provide medical intervention support that involves a specific medical condition approved by the Department, requires specialised training/instruction that requires regular updating and has clearly defined responsibility for the administration of such support.
22.5 hours per week
