**About the Role**:
As part of the Workforce Management Directorate within the People and Culture Division, the Manager, Recruitment Services is responsible for the strategic direction, leadership and management of the department’s recruitment services function.
The department operates a large workforce across its schools and preschools, nearly 30 000 people. This workforce has high volumes of recruitment with over 500 ongoing teacher roles advertised and more than 5000 temporary teachers offered contracts each year. Additionally, around 800 leadership roles and 600 ancillary roles are advertised every year. Australian schools are facing unprecedented teacher supply and retention challenges. Declining numbers of new graduate teachers, increasing demand from a growing student population and an ageing teacher and leadership workforce are all contributing to teacher shortages.
Key to success is a contemporary, collaborative and human centred approach to provide expert guidance around workforce opportunities, issues and obligations.
**Qualifications**:
**Desirable**: A tertiary qualification relevant to Human Resources or equivalent experience
**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
MAS3 $125,970 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
