**About the Role**

Western Health has in excess of 30 HMO2/PGY2 Medical (BPT1) positions available for the 2024 Clinical Year.

Western Health offers a highly supportive, clinically rich, and professionally exciting environment in which to train. A dedicated education program tailored to basic training, includes 4 hours per week of structured teaching, in addition to Grand rounds, simulation-based training, and numerous professional development workshops.

Western Health offers the following rotations as an HMO2/PGY2 Medical (BPT1):

- Cardiology
- Dermatology
- Endocrinology
- Gastroenterology
- GEM/Subacute
- Haematology
- Infectious Diseases
- Intensive Care
- Neurology
- Oncology
- Orthogeriatrics
- Psychiatry (Orygen)
- Rheumatology

Rotations are allocated via an individualised, preference-based system, with an emphasis on fair and equal access, and breadth of exposure.
