Testing Co-ordinator

**Purpose**:
Reporting to the Project Lead of our Digitisation project this newly created role of Testing Co-ordiantor is responsible for managing the testing process and end results. This will include overseeing both manual and automated testing, reporting on progress, as well, trend analysis. This position also holds responsibility for defining the scope, goals, and parameters of the testing process in collaboration with the business end users.
**Primary Accountabilities**:
- Define the test plan to ensure quality and completeness of each product release
- Set up infrastructure for automated testing, including defining requirements for automation framework, scripts and data sets
- Define requirements for automation framework, scripts and data sets
- Provide input into required skill sets of testers
- Monitor trends in software quality and performance through metrics analysis
- Analyse failures and create lessons learned reports, log defects and manage the re-testing
- Define scope of tests to be executed for each release, including new functions, capabilities and integrations
- Manage setting up new test scripts for new functions, capabilities and integrations
- Execute tests as assigned by business team or product manager
- Coordinate and support the deployment of each release into QA/PROD, including deployment plans, cut-over and roll-back strategies
- Provide input into the definition of performance metrics
- Monitor progress against test plans
- Coordinate external vendors and/or contractors as required
- Provide status reports to stakeholders
**Key Business Relationships**:
- Nissan Financial Services Australia (NFSA) Business Improvement Team
- NFSA Digi 2020 project team (this is only for the duration of the project)
- Vendors for NFSA Retail and Wholesale systems
- Vendor(s) for testing software
**About you**:
- 5 years' experience in in software testing and automation
- Strong technical background in software testing and automation
- Experience with Tosca Software is preferred
