The Gordon has a very exciting and rewarding opportunity for a skilled, confident and capable educator to join us as a Teacher - Work Education, in a casual capacity.

Joining us as a Teacher - Work Education requires creativity and innovation in order to meet the evolving training needs for students with learning barriers and disabilities.

The successful incumbent will be required to participate in a variety of course and program coordination activities. This involvement will support the efficient operation of the Teaching department, where ideas and concepts are shared and explored. Additionally, these activities will also be utilised to support the achievement of learning outcomes for students.

Teamwork, collaboration, sharing of knowledge and ideas will be highly regarded attributes.

**Qualifications**:
Successful completion of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110) inclusive of TAEASS502 (design & develop assessment tools) or equivalent & TAELLN411 (Address adult learning, literacy & numeracy skills) or equivalent.

A degree, diploma or other approved tertiary qualification in relevant vocational area to enable to teach across any of the following courses/disciplines:

- Certificate I in Work Education
- Certificate I in Transition Education

(N.B. The appointee must be able to demonstrate the vocational competencies at least to the level of those delivered).
