**Irrigation Store Sales Consultant**

Located in the wine growing regions of Barossa Valley and Clare, South Australia

Irrigation Works retail stores stock a large range of products, including domestic & agricultural pumps, drip line and drippers, valves, pipe and fittings, automatic controllers, water tanks, filters and a range of smart water saving products and equipment.

Our staff are a vital part of our business, providing friendly expert service to assist customers with purchases of quality irrigation and plumbing products

Our company is a small privately owned business with a long established name in South Australia since 1995. With two stores including workshop and installation service

**The position of sales consultant can be suited to either**:

- An experienced Irrigation technician or trades person looking for a change from the tools, either full or part time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Counter sales of pumps and irrigation equipment
- Provide customers with technical information and advice on pumps and irrigation products
- Maintain professional relationships with trade clients
- Manage inventory system and stock control
- Ordering and receiving goods
- Manage customer enquiry and provide customer quotes
- Pump repairs and servicing
- Travel between stores and site visits

**We are looking for**:

- Experience in the pumping & irrigation industry is very advantageous but not essential
- Enthusiastic, well presented and polite
- Drivers licence
- Sound mathematical knowledge
- Good customer service skills
- Computer skills
- Strong engineering or mechanical aptitude
- Understanding technical based sales solutions
- Genuine interest in learning
