This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, aspiring and solutions focused Pharmacy Technician to join our ever growing and well-loved family business.

The Pharmacy Technician will support the Pharmacist with the preparation of Dose Administration Aids (DAAs), dispensary operations, and aged care pharmacy services. Key responsibilities include dispensing medications, managing inventory, assisting with Medicare Australia claims, and providing high-quality customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation and packing of DAAs, and inventory management.
- Dispense prescriptions, prepare medications, and assist with extemporaneous prescriptions.
- Manage residential aged care pharmacy services, including order preparation, dispatch, and deliveries.
- Support Medicare claims, prescription management, documentation, and reporting.
- Maintain a clean, organised dispensary and packing areas.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer inquiries and complaints.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and risk management practices.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in community pharmacy.
- Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy or working towards Dispensary Technician competencies.
- Willingness to develop further competencies as per the Pharmacy Industry Award 2020.
- Desirable: Experience with automated DAA packing machinery and strong computer skills.
