- Salary $80,488 - $121,202 p.a. (pro rata) MDP2 | Full Time, Until August 2026

As the Emergency Paediatric Registrar, you will provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to Emergency Department paediatric patients at Flinders medical Centre and Noarlunga Health Services, both in terms of individual performance and by providing clinical leadership and contribution to a multi-disciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care. You will be actively involved in teaching and supervising medical students and junior medical staff and where appropriate nursing and Allied Health staff. The Emergency Paediatric Registrar participates in clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities and research and continuous medical education activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff, broad clinical experience and demonstrable competence in the practice of emergency medicine, as occurs in Australasian Emergency Departments, a commitment to providing a quality service to patients and their families and the ability to supervise more junior medical staff.
