- Our client is currently seeking a
- **Senior Production / Operations Manager** to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of work, meeting deadlines, maintaining product quality, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will involve coordinating with various teams, managing resources, and implementing effective systems to enhance efficiency and productivity. You will oversee and manage the production operations.We are looking for someone who is willing to make a big impact and be equipped with good ideas to benefit the project and the team in the right way.**Salary: $100k - $120k salary + super depending on skills and experience.**

**Working arrangement: Mainly required to be on-site. This role is based in Artarmon, NSW.**

**Major Responsibilities**:

- **
Job Sheet Management**:Daily review and processing of new job sheets. Allocate jobs to production staff based on their skills and availability. Monitor material requirements, and stock levels, and collaborate with the purchasing manager when necessary.
- ** Production Planning**:Continuously review staff resources to meet project deadlines. Ensure adequate stock levels to fulfil deadlines. Conduct weekly team meetings to review open jobs, and deadlines, and address any issues. Communicate with the sales team regarding job-specific queries. Be available for after-hours contact as required.
- ** Active Work Monitoring**:Maintain regular communication with production staff regarding job timing and progress. Collaborate with the customer service team on a daily basis. Assist senior technicians with the staging of larger projects.
- ** Hands-On Display Building**:Taking responsibility for larger and custom projects, acting as a senior display technician. Complete limited off-site installations, including interstate work. Liaise directly with clients during off-site installations.
- ** Production Staff Management**:Manage staffing levels and allocation by team, area, and job. Coordinate staff for off-site work, including interstate site projects and associated logistics. Book external installers and ensure they have all the necessary information for successful completion. Manage the print department and allocate resources based on ongoing requirements and deadlines. Supervise casual staff, including their shifts. Assist in general staff management, including hiring and firing, with support from management. Continuously monitor production wages cost versus income produced.
- ** Product Output and Quality**:Conduct daily checks of job output against work instructions. Maintain ongoing quality control of product finishing and packing to meet established standards. Ensure accurate production notes are recorded with each job sheet for future reference.
- ** Driver Management**:Oversee the management of D2G driver(s) and their run schedules.
- ** NetSuite Management**:Continuously manage and optimize the production functions within the NetSuite system.
- ** Warehouse, Equipment, and Vehicle Maintenance**:Maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance across work and warehouse areas, machinery, and vehicles. Delegate responsibilities related to these matters to appropriate personnel. Conduct stock checks, including annual stock take, weekly checks, and monthly counts.
- ** Health and Safety**:Conduct induction and onboarding for new staff and contractors.
- ** Systems Improvement**:Contribute to the improvement of existing systems and implementation of new systems. Drive initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, meeting deadlines, team satisfaction, cleanliness, cost reduction, and organization.
- ** Team Meetings**:Conduct regular team meetings, including a "Tool Box" meeting every 2nd Tuesday morning after morning tea. Communicate important information to all team members. Facilitate group discussions and encourage staff to contribute to ongoing improvements.
