Our wonderful Lalor service, located on High Street, is only walking distance from the Lalor train station and bus stops as well. We are a 91 place service and are so proud of our thoughtfully designed learning environments, interactive children's kitchen and newly renovated outdoor spaces. We are a long-standing team of highly qualified educators and are looking for the next Early Childhood Education superstar to join our Hive

Our service is looking for multiple Casual Educators who are passionate about the Early Childhood Industry. This is a great chance to work with a fantastic service and team and take your career to the next step while enjoying a flexible work schedule.

Essential Qualifications- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.- Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.- Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.- Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.- Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.- Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
