Welding & Yardman

Location: Burleigh Heads, QLD

Position Type: Casual to Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: Starting rate of around $36 p/hr (Negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Welding and Yardman to join our team at Burleigh Heads, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for welding various equipment, including forklift attachments and skip bins, and performing yard duties, including forklift operation and assigning materials to their proper location in the yard.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welding equipment using MIG, Stick, and Flux welding techniques.
- Repairing forklift attachments and skip bins.
- Operating a forklift to move materials to their appropriate location in the yard.
- Ensuring that all equipment and materials are stored in a safe and organized manner.
- Assisting with general yard duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Prior welding experience is essential.
- A valid forklift ticket is required.
- Knowledge of MIG, Stick, and Flux welding techniques.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour as required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, with usual start times of 6am - 3pm.
