**Job Description**:
A fabulous opportunity exists for a passionate and guest centric Driveway Manager to join and lead our Driveway team at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins.

Based on the hotel Driveway and reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be encouraged to be the real deal, to be authentic and empathetic in all that you do. Your role is hands-on, working as part of a team to provide professional, luxury service where you will be able to demonstrate ownership of the Driveway operations through commitment to your team. You make our colleagues and guests feel valued and you naturally make everybody feel welcome.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Lead, mentor and train the Driveway team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment;
- Assist in recruitment and induction of new team members;
- Assist the Front Office Manager in completing probationary reviews and performance development reviews;
- Be fully conversant with all aspects of the city of Melbourne to be able to answer guest queries;
- Responsible for Ambassador rosters, including control of meal breaks and overtime;
- Enhancing the luxury experience that is delivered to each of our guests;

**Qualifications**:
YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES INCLUDE:

- Demonstrated ability to lead, guide and develop a team of hospitality professionals;
- Minimum two years’ experience in a leadership role in a luxury hotel;
- An ability to ask the right questions and listen intently to problem solve;
- Efficient time management skills and able to manage competing priorities;
- Genuine commitment to guest service and excellent attention to detail;
- Exhibit an ability to grow and develop in the role.
