If so, the role of Heritage Parks Manager could be an exciting opportunity for you. As the leader of the Heritage Parks work unit, you will supervise a dedicated team of five professionals who are committed to preserving and managing the Fort Lytton and St Helena Island National Parks. These parks are not just ordinary natural parks; they hold significant heritage values and have a profound meaning to many people. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive work program alongside your team. This will involve overseeing specific projects that require
unique and innovative approaches within a heritage context. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with other heritage professionals both within and outside the agency.
One of the highlights of this position is the chance to support and contribute to highly valued education programs that take place within these heritage sites. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the sites' educational initiatives align with their historical significance and resonate with the community.
