**About the role**

An opportunity exists to work with a committed and collaborative Christian Distance Education (DE) team teaching in primary. This DE 0.8 position ( 4 days a week ) starts in Term 1, 2024 with an allocation of one work-from-home day per week depending on the calendar of school events.

The position is a 12 month maternity leave contract leading to the possibility of a more permanent role in 2025.

- You have suitable teaching qualifications and are registered with the QCT.
- You are enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You’re willing to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes in your pursuit of excellence as a teacher.
- You will be highly empathetic and able to consider the needs of families while progressing the delivery of service in a timely manner.
- You care deeply for your students and desire to see them grow and flourish mentally, physically, socially and spiritually, as they develop the resilience and character to succeed.
- You’re confident in the use of technology e.g providing video feedback to students, running a video call
- You’re highly motivated and able to build a protective, loving and caring virtual classroom community.
- You have a strong commitment to Christian schooling and are able to teach from a biblical worldview..
- You have a servant heart and active Christian faith.
