NEPEAN Finance is a shared service function based in Narellan, providing services to all a range of NEPEAN’s businesses across Australia.

**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position will prepare conduct end to end payroll activities across multiple NEPEAN businesses.

Duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Processing end to end, multiple weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
- Interpreting relevant Award and EA’s to correctly process payroll.
- Attending to payroll queries.
- Maintain pay records, associated time keeping data statistics, leave records and related information.
- Process and reconcile end of financial year.
- Monthly reconciling of payroll, PAYG and superannuation payments and authorised payroll deductions.
- Calculating Termination and Redundancy Pays
- Set-Up and termination of new and exiting employees.
- Processing of headcount, leave reports and other employee related reporting.
- General related tasks and administration as required.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Minimum 3 years prior experience and solid track record in payroll activities.
- Experience in weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles.
- Payroll system experience will be highly regarded.
- MS Office proficiency
- Be an organised team player.
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service driven and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated experience working under pressure.
- Have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
