**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The Customs Broker is responsible for ensuring that all necessary custom documentation is in order and that all required fees, taxes, and duties are paid on imported and exported goods. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Customs Broker to join a growing company

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Data compiling for customs clearance
- Populate systems with appropriate information
- Completing administrative tasks and job registrations
- Liaising with clients to gather information to clear shipments
- Data entry
- Checking documents meet Australian Border Force (ABF), Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) requirements
- Ensure shipments are cleared within specified timeframes
- Processing entry payments
- Invoicing
- L-shipping
- Liaise with external departments
- General administration including but not limited to invoicing and reporting using CargoWise One
- Supporting with customer service operations, imports and exports as required

**ESSENTIAL**:

- Proficient within Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of customs
- Experience within providing exceptional customer service
- Experience within entry preparation and compiling
- The ability to work towards set KPI's and deadlines
- An understanding of Incoterms

**HIGHLY DESIRABLE**:

- Licensed Customs Broker with current ABF License
- Experience utilising Cargowise
- Experience working within customer service / imports
