**Restaurant Kitchen Stewards Needed**

Located on the rooftop of Customs House, Cafe Sydney offers spectacular views, delicious food & first class service. We currently require Kitchen Stewards to join our dedicated team ideally on a **full time basis (38+ hours per week) or part time may be considered (at least 24 hours per week).**

**Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Follow the kitchen cleaning rosters at all times and ensure your section cleaning checklists are being completed
- Achieve and maintain excellence in cleaning standards and methods
- Ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner at all times
- Maintain the correct opening and closing duties and ensure all areas are left in a standard that is acceptable for following Kitchen Staff.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and in all areas of the Kitchen including the toilets during and after service
- Assist in basic food preparation and storage
- Remove daily and as required both wet and dry garbage and waste materials to designated areas
- Ensure re-cycling of garbage and waste materials is completed
- Ensure safe handling, maintenance and storage of chemicals at all times to OHS standards

**Requirements of the role**

Ability to work full time, at least **38 hours per week**
A minimum of 1 **years experience** working in a **high-end, high volume, a la carte restaurant**
