**Position Description**:
As the cinematographer and editor at RD, your primary focus will be to deliver an exceptional customer experience through high-quality visual storytelling. Under the direction of the Creative Director, you will manage video projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
You will collaborate with a diverse team of service delivery consultants across multiple disciplines, including communication, content, design, and events. Additionally, you will support business operations activities and participate in professional development to further your career progression.
**Responsibilities**
**Technical Delivery**:
- Excel in both small-scale shoots and multi-crew, large-scale productions.
- Demonstrate strong pre-production skills, including storyboarding, shoot planning, and management.
- Exhibit high proficiency in video production techniques, including mirrorless and cinema camera operation, lighting, and sound.
- Show strong editing skills, proficient in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other post-production tools.
- Ensure a cohesive narrative and visual style across all video projects, adhering to brand standards and creative direction.
- Experience in photography and animation/motion is beneficial.
**Video Operations and Management**:
- Manage the planning and delivery of multiple video projects of various sizes, demonstrating resourcefulness and dedication.
- Provide quality assurance on all video content before delivery to clients.
- Manage video studio operations, processes, and equipment.
- Liaise and collaborate with RD’s freelancer network.
- Maintain strong financial oversight of project budgets, forecasts, and costs.

- Demonstrate strong communication skills, collaborating with teammates and liaising with clients to ensure clarity and alignment across all phases.
- Thrive in fast-paced settings, multitasking effectively while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities, all while maintaining high-quality work.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Support new business opportunities, including proposals and client engagement strategies.
**To be eligible for this role you**:
- Must be an Australian citizen at the time you apply.
- Have an AGSVA Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one
- Have 3 - 5 years industry experience as a cinematographer and editor
