Committed to your own and other’s growth - You strive to stretch and grow yourself and others by identifying your own development areas, seeking feedback and providing feedback to others to help them learn and grow every day.
A problem solver - You are energised by tackling complex problems and use critical thinking, your network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our customers and the bank.
Risk savvy - You build sustainable solutions that protect customers, stakeholders, and the community.
What will your day look like

Streamline credit risk strategy, policy, and processes to support the ANZx vision of high automation for the ANZx portfolio;
Deliver improved decision automation, low friction and fast outcomes for customers whilst managing ANZ risk appropriately;
Utilise analytical techniques, leveraging existing data and system infrastructure, to create more tailored decisions and offers that improve customer and business outcome;
End to end delivery of changes from ideation to rollout, coordinating with stakeholders across the business.
What will you bring?
A self-starter with a high degree of initiative and autonomy to navigate ambiguity and make decisions within a broadly defined direction and set boundaries.
At least five years of relevant experience solving complex business problems within a retail lending environment that require strong judgment, commercial focus, and thought leadership, drawing on various techniques and prior experiences, extrapolating, exploring, and experimenting where new challenges are encountered.
Enjoy working “on the tools”, with strong working knowledge of data science, and/or business decision systems and/or reporting software tools (e.g., MS Excel, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, PowerCurve, TRIAD Customer Manager, AbInitio).
Solid stakeholder management experience to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key personnel throughout value-chain, understanding and responding to stakeholder needs.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, to translate technical content into business insights, author business narratives and recommendations clearly and simply.
